Heavy rainfall disrupts daily life in J&K; water levels rise, classes suspended, roads blocked

Jammu and Kashmir have been dealing with ongoing rainfall that has caused destruction in various areas, including higher altitudes. Heavy rains in the valley have led to sudden floods in certain areas of Kupwara in northern Kashmir, resulting in damage to buildings and roads. Additionally, the Sarbal area of Sonamarg suffered the impact of an avalanche that occurred on Monday.
