Shanghai on red alert as Typhoon Bebinca makes landfall, strongest in decades

Early Monday, Typhoon Bebinca struck Shanghai with fierce winds reaching up to 151 km/h and heavy rainfall. Authorities issued a red alert, evacuated coastal residents, and canceled numerous flights. Train services were also disrupted during the mid-Autumn Festival holiday. Popular tourist destinations like Shanghai Disney Resort have been temporarily closed.
