Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, along with seven others, including a Russian national, was booked in Katra, Jammu, for violating local laws by allegedly consuming alcohol near the Vaishno Devi shrine. The region strictly prohibits liquor and non-vegetarian food to maintain its religious sanctity. While several Bollywood celebrities have stayed silent on the issue, actor Samir Soni has strongly criticized Orry’s actions, calling them irresponsible and offensive.
