Myanmar hit by 5.5 quake weeks after deadly 7.7 temblor

A 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar near Meiktila, a region already reeling from a devastating 7.7 magnitude quake in March. While there were no immediate reports of significant damage or casualties, residents fled buildings, and some ceilings were damaged.
