Teen climate activists occupy top US Republican's office

Dozens of American teenagers from the Sunrise Movement occupied the office of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to protest against a government shutdown that they believe will worsen the climate crisis. The iceberg A23a, which broke away from Antarctica's Filchner Ice Shelf in 1986, is finally drifting beyond Antarctic waters. It had been stuck in the Weddell Sea for many years but has now started moving propelled by wind and ocean currents. Measuring around 4,000 square kilometers, the iceberg is three times the size of New York City and twice the size of Greater London.
