Climate contradictions key at UN talks. Less future warming projected, yet there's more current pain

Dubai hosts United Nations talks for a global stock take on the progress of the Paris climate agreement. However, the pain from current climate change has been underestimated, with severe impacts happening faster and harder than anticipated. Despite rising emissions, they are increasing more slowly than previously projected.
