Heavy snowfall in Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova leaves 1 person dead and many without electricity

Heavy snowstorms in Romania and Moldova caused road closures and power outages. A man died in a road accident in Moldova, and multiple accidents were reported. Red weather warnings were issued in several counties in Romania with winds reaching up to 100 kph. Over 400 localities experienced electrical outages. In Bulgaria, winter storms led to a state of emergency declaration, with over 1,000 settlements losing electricity. Traffic accidents, injuries, and travel delays were also reported.
