India stands firm against pressure from developed countries on fossil fuels at COP28 in Dubai; environment minister Bhupender Yadav states that India will continue to use coal until achieving developmental needs; emphasis on not relying solely on oil and gas imports; acknowledges India's global stature in climate action and leadership in innovation and technology; India set to become third-largest economy after US and China, overtaking Germany and Japan. Yadav later launched a report on ‘A Green and Sustainable Growth Agenda for the Global Economy' at a different event.
