Cambodia 'upcycler' turns tonnes of plastic bottles into brooms

Workers in Phnom Penh upcycle 5,000 plastic bottles daily into solid and durable brooms. The initiative, led by entrepreneur Has Kea, reduces pollution, improves livelihoods, and incentivizes plastic bottle collection. The brooms are made by sewing plastic strips onto bamboo sticks using metal wires.
