IMD forecasts heavy rain and thunderstorms for next 2-3 days in Tamil Nadu

The India Meteorological Department forecasted heavy rainfall and thunderstorms across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal regions from Thursday to Monday due to a well-marked low-pressure area. Isolated heavy rains are expected particularly in districts like Vellore, Dharmapuri, and Madurai. Temperatures will range between 25-34°C under partly cloudy skies.
