Winter storm wreaks havoc: Blizzards, floods, mudslides and tornadoes batter California

A powerful winter storm has wreaked havoc across the United States, causing dangerous travel conditions, power outages, and evacuations. The storm has led to vehicle pileups in Oregon and Washington, heavy rain in California, and snow and freezing rain on the East Coast.
